Chocolate Fountain Operating Instructions:
The Chocolate Fountain is not suitable for outdoor use!
Set Up
Place chocolate fountain on level, sturdy table. With the use of a level, use the adjustable feet to level the chocolate fountain. Do NOT place chocolate fountain under fans or in open doorways. The fountain should be placed so the cord is not a hazard.
To Preheat The Fountain
Turn the power on. The fountain will preheat itself automatically. Do NOT touch the bowl of the fountain as you may burn yourself. The fountain will take approximately 15 minutes to preheat.
We recommend heating the individual layers of the chocolate fountain with a hairdryer prior to filling the fountain – this will avoid the chocolate sticking to the layers and will result in a smoother flow.
Melting/Heating Chocolate
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT PLACE THE CHOCOLATE IN THE MICROWAVE, ON A STOVE OR GAS TOP, OR IN THE FRIDGE – THIS WILL RUIN THE CHOCOLATE
-
Place a small amount of chocolate into a large pot.
-
Place the pot into a sink containing hot water. Stir the chocolate until melted.
-
Add additional chocolate and stir until melted.
-
Continue this process until all the chocolate is melted.
-
If desired, you can add approximately 300ml of oil to the chocolate. This will make the chocolate flow nicer and glisten when flowing.
Filling The Fountain
Fill the bowl of the chocolate fountain with the melted warm chocolate. Located on the back of the machine is the operating system. Push the on/off button to turn the machine on. This will start the auger and the chocolate will flow up the auger and down over the layers. Do not touch the buttons to the left or right of the on/off button. You may need to turn the on/off button to “off” after the machine has been running to remove air bubbles. Count to 30 and turn the machine back on. It may be necessary to repeat this process during the course of the night. To top up the chocolate in the machine, turn the auger off, refill the bowl and turn the machine back on.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF FOOD THAT IS CRUMBLY AS THIS WILL CLOG THE MACHINE AND THE CHOCOLATE WILL NOT FLOW.
Disassemble
Ensure that the machine is turned off when you have finished.
If you leave the machine on overnight, you could damage the machine and you will be responsible for the replacement/repair of the machine.
It is your choice if you would like to keep any left-over or excess chocolate. This can be stored in the fridge for use in desserts, etc.
The chocolate fountain needs to be cleaned of all excess chocolate. This does not require any steel wool or other scourer. Warm/hot water and a bit of detergent will be sufficient. Do NOT use anything that will scratch the machine. Put the components back into its packaging as it was packed when you got it.
The hirer is responsible for the Chocolate Fountain from the time of Delivery/Pick-up until tested on return.

Jazz Jukebox Operating Instructions
Set Up
The top half of the Jukebox contains the ‘computer’. The base holds the speakers and built in lights.
Place the ‘top’ half of the Jukebox onto the ‘bottom’ half of the Jukebox (speaker).
Ensure that the two halves are sitting correctly. Clip the two halves together.
At the back, plug in the speaker cord. It will ‘click’ when inserted correctly.

IMPORTANT:
WHEN RETURNING THE MICROPHONES TO THEIR HOLDERS(LOCATED ON TOP OF THE JUKEBOX), PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE TURNED TO THE OFF POSITION. FAILURE TO TURN THE MICROPHONES OFF WILL CAUSE THE FEEDBACK TO SHORT OUT THE SPEAKER SYSTEM. IF THIS OCCURS, THE JUKEBOX WILL CEASE OPERATION.
